Marines
SOCMAR is the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Marines. Mountain State University is a SOCMAR 2 and SOCMAR 4 Institutional Member, offering associate and bachelor level degrees for active and retired Marine personnel and their families.

  • General SOC affiliation (makes transferring academic credits from other SOC affiliate schools easier)
  • Offers several academic programs through the SOC-MAR 2 and SOC-MAR 4 network programs
  • MSU offers over 300 courses and degree programs that are available totally at a distance through our Independent Study Program.
  • Accepts ACE Credit Recommendations
  • Many of our programs are eligible for DANTES tuition reimbursement.
